I posted this before. Today I lightened the lights and darkened the darks and punched up the color. I liked this scene in both oil and pastel. I want to do a larger version in pastel.
Thank you both, The path and the highlights were both things I added to the original. I am learning to let go of the reference photo for the sake of the painting.
Sandra, it is a beautiful scene. In bigger size it will look really good! I liked the pink and green highlights.
