"Hanging with the Bunch" 6x6 oil $100
This is so much fun! I completed 30 in 30 on my own on Aug. 31st. so I wasn't sure I would be up to joining Leslie's challenge on the first but I am so glad I did! The other artists are great, the paintings are inspiring and it is so great to do this with other artists. I feel like I am making a whole lot of
on-line friends and the support is wonderful!
This is the radish painting I did a year ago!
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLovely brushwork and colors
ReplyDeleteI love your radish paintings, Sandra! You can see in the comparison that you're fine tuning your style with all that painting. Can't believe you're taking part in 30 in 30 while teaching full time - that is AMAZING! I am a newly retired teacher, also doing 30 in 30 with Leslie, and I know I NEVER could have participated while I was still working!
ReplyDeleteGreat work!
we'll see - This is only day 5 of my school year! I,m trying to figure out how to paint tomorrow with parent's night!
DeleteI hope my painting advances as much as yours seems to have done. The older painting is good but.... wow, love the new one.
ReplyDeleteI too am enjoying the challenge. I have promised myself that I will only work from life this month. You have inspired me to go to the veg shop. :)
Amazing about the improvement! I love your loose confident brush strokes!!! I hope to be there soon as well. :D

I bet you will be! The 30 days I did previously is what loosened me up. Everything clicked in like getting hit by lightning.
DeleteVery inspiring Sandra!!! Beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteThat's some amazing improvement in a year, Sandra! Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI just love your new radishes painting...so fresh, colorful!
Congratulations on such a wonderful little work!
